Demetri Panici - Productivity Apps / Minimalism : "Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present." - Marcus Aurelius
Daniel Borok : This makes me feel a sense of wonder and and existential dread at the same time.
John Michelson : Interesting stuff. Thought she did an amazing job making difficult concepts understandable. Makes me want to learn more!
Tunes of Ambience : Very interesting, God makes the beautiful world....
Kateryna Turchyna : Wow, she's so inspiring! Wish I studied for astrophysics :D

Stephanie Kelton: The big myth of government deficits | TED

Government deficits have gotten a bad rap, says economist Stephanie Kelton. In this groundbreaking talk, she makes the case to stop looking at government spending as a path towards frightening piles of debt, but rather as a financial contribution to the things that matter -- like health care, education, infrastructure and beyond. "We have the resources we need to begin repairing our broken systems," Kelton says. "But we have to believe it's possible."

Andy Duffield : No one ever asks "How will we pay for this new war"
We've got infinite money for war and tax breaks but never when it actually helps the people
JoeTube : Increasing the monetary supply is just like the taxation of savings.
But unlike a direkt tax to savings, stealing the purchasing power of the people via inflation is much easier, because the numbers on their accounts stay the same.
Richard Marshall : Printing more money comes at the cost of currency devaluation , which if a net importer spells death spiral.
evilspacemonkeyman : If the government keeps on printing more money we’ll all be millionaires.
Don’t spend your millions all at once. On a bottle of coke for example.
Avery Lemons : I'm unable to follow a lot of this, however I do agree that using money as a measure of capability is inferior to using resources as a measure.

Demetri Panici - Productivity Apps / Minimalism : Honestly we need to schedule less meetings and send less emails. I've been reading Cal Newport's new book "A World Without Email" and it's been great!
Demetri Panici - Productivity Apps / Minimalism : “Reduce the complexity of life by eliminating the needless wants of life, and the labors of life reduce themselves.” - Edwin Way Teale
Internet and life hacks : These tips can actually save us a good deal of time and energy! Thanks TED :)
Yukiko Wu : Great tips, especially about having a purpose statement and not accepting every meeting you are invited to. The only part that I slightly disagree with is “only invite the decision makers” because sometimes that can make mid level managers feel invisible and ignored, and also, non-decision makers are often the “worker bee” types who are in the actual weeds and have valuable insight to share.
Connie Fletcher : I’m stuck going to meetings led by people who don’t think this advice is for them.
